Artist's Comments
This one was another of my "out of no where" ideas. I had a charcoal drawing of this old lady, and I decided to make a painting out of it. I had a foam-board laying around, so I took that put some gesso on it and started painting. This is mix media, mainly Caran Dache` Neocolor. Some Acrylic on the bottom and some on top. As you can see, the main focus is on the facial features, the rest of the painting is scribbled out.
